  • Whale- und Dolphin Watching
    The bay of Plettenberg Bay is a nature reserve and famous for its three different types of dolphins and cape fur seals that live here all year round, the great whales that are here in the winter months, as well as the numerous seabirds. Although the marine mammals can be observed from the shore a boat trip to see them up close is worth a trip in any case.

  • Sea-Kayaking
    By kayak you can explore the wonderful coastline and with some luck get up close with the dolphins.

  • Canoeing- and boat-rentals on the Keurbooms River: Keurbooms river canoeing
    A trip by canoe on the Keurbooms River is a wonderful experience. The river scenery is very beautiful - simply enjoy!

  • Different Wildlife Awareness-Centers and sanctuaries:
    Whether you fancy big cats, elephants, monkeys or birds - all animal lovers get their money's worth

  • Safari:
    It is even possible to observe wild animals in freedom, whether in the smaller Game Reserve in Plettenberg Bay, the Garden Route Game Reserve or in the Addo Elephant Park near Port Elisabeth, every Safari promises incredible encounters.

  • Golf: or
    South Africa is known for its many beautiful golf courses, two of which are located just around the corner.

  • Scuba diving:
    The water temperature can vary a lot, in summer it can be 24 degrees warm or only 18 degrees cold and even colder during the winter months. Despite the cold water, diving here is very exciting as there are good chances to see whales during the winter months and dolphins all year round – and of course shark encounters are not too rare neither.

  • Many different hikes:
    The region offers a large variety of hikes: Robberg Peninsula, Tsitsikamma National Park, Nature's Valley to name just a few.

  • Wineries:
    A glass of wine anyone? There are even wineries in our region - South Africa is known for its excellent wines, taste them!

  • Bungy-Jumping:
    Those who fancy an adrenaline rush can jump from the Bloukrans Bridge in Tsitsikamma National Park - the world's highest commercial bungy bridge.

  • Surfing:
    For beginners as well as experienced surfers there is the opportunity to glide over the waves.

  • Skydiving:
    A view of the region from above? Go ahead, into the plane and there you go!

  • Adventures: kinds of adventures like ziplines, canyoning, abseiling, segway, quad biking - you name it
