Our guest wing with two twin bedrooms is on the first floor of our sunlit house “Dolphin-View”.
Room "Dolphin" with a covered deck and sea view, south-facing
During the whole year one can often see the dolphins passing by and with lots of luck a bryde's whale in the distance and in the winter months, from May to October, the southern rightwhales as well as the humpback whales. With open windows one can hear the beautiful sound of the sea. This room is the cooler one, as here in the southern hemisphere the sun passes on the north side. There is a small electric heater in case it gets too cold. The bathroom is equipped with a shower as well as a bathtub.

Room "Bushbuck" with view on the indigenous bush, north-facing
With a bit of luck you can watch a bushbuck eating our flowers in the area behind the house. This room is very quiet, one can only hear the birds chirping. There is a flat-screen TV with all DStv programs available. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and two washbasins. This room is the warm one, especially during the winter months, when the sun is low, it gets nicely warmed up during the day - and if it is too warm, it can quickly be cooled down at night by opening the windows. Both rooms are equipped as follows:
- private en-suite bathroom

- beach bag with 2 beach towels

Between the rooms there is a counter with coffee, tea and rusks, a fridge with fresh water, a microwave oven, dishes etc. In addition our covered lounge area and the gasgrill behind the house with a beautiful view of the forest are for common use. Our whole house is equipped with new, double-glazed, well-sealed windows. Therefore, even in the wintermonths the rooms are not as cold as elsewhere.
Water is a very precious resourse in Africa. Therefore we change the towels only twice a week and the sheets once and of course before new arrivals. The rooms/bathrooms are cleaned weekly. Additional change of towels/linen can be done upon special arrangement.
